Well. It comes from an old Marx Brothers movie. A chase scene ends in a barn, and the baddie shouts up at Chico Marx “Hey you, get down from that loft!”. Chico responds “Well, it’s better to have loft and lost than never to have loft at all”. Very, very silly and when I first saw it, in my teenage years, it tickled me pink. So when it came to choose a name for this blog I though, hell, why not?
