I loved Euro synth pop bands like ABC, Spandau, OMD and I loved New Order, the Cure, Siouxsie, Echo, Human League, Duran Duran… it was so mixed up then, not so classified as goth, synth pop, whatever, it was all just New Wave – you could hear The English Beat then The GoGo’s on the same station… well… you know what I mean! We weren’t so seperated musicly, ska, punk, new wave all could hang together in the parking lot – but… now that I think of it, maybe the GoGo girls woulnld’t like the Bunnyman, “he’s so pale!”
